What do I wish for you?

To awaken with bird song.

A coast road, an open car-
Sun and wind and fog
The oceans edge at sunset.
Tracks in the wet sand.

A puppy's totally enthusiastic greeting.

The heart of a flower-
Look down, down

Warm sun ripe figs-
to pick

The unbroken stillness of
far away places.

The shadow of night
rising across the desert sky,
the stars that will soon follow.
HO! A Horny Toad!

The white cat curled into it's
private cave under the hedge.

The vignettes that drift
like bubbles across our path.
Such as these
I would wish for you,
because they are forever
to be found.
