| The old lady, Grandma Gardner, is sitting in the chair. She claims her grandfather was General Townsend. The couple, Ida and Wally Kirkpatrick, at the left met because of death in their families brought them to California for a new start. The lady on the right, Aunt Annie, was getting a divorce because her little boy was illegitimate. He is standing behind his not really grandma Gardner. Thanks to the little girl, Gracie, hanging on the rail for saving the pictures and telling the family tales.
