In the first part of the 20th century hats were all the rage. This page is a pictorial of hats from the very late 1800's to about 1980's. The pictures came out of various family albums of the descendents of Finis Kirkpatrick. His tin type is at the left of this page. There is a large selection of pictures from 1890's to 1910 or so, also the 1930's and 1940's. The photos are arranged by category not by the year. Since the photos are not dated one can only guess the age by the style of cloths and background and hat.
